Scholarship 2023/24 for the international master’s program ESED at the University of Twente.

The University of Twente is pleased to offer the Education for Sustainable Energy Development (ESED) Scholarship for the academic year 2023-2024.

The ESED International Master’s Scholarship supports excellent students pursuing advanced studies in sustainable energy development and encourages significant contributions to the collective body of knowledge on this topic.

The Dutch government’s decision to locate the country’s third technical university in Enschede, the main city of Twenty, had much to do with the rich manufacturing industry in the northeastern province (textiles, metallurgy, electrical engineering, chemistry). Another important consideration was the fact that the local economy needed a boost to compensate for the decline of the textile industry. So was the fact that the municipality of Enschede made the Drienerlo estate available for the first campus of the University of the Netherlands.
