Beyond Borders invites applications from students around the world studying borders and border phenomena in different regions of the world. The 2023 call for scholarship applications is open and focuses on ‘Borders, Migration and Knowledge’.
BEYOND BORDERS supports research on borders and border phenomena in the past and present. It promotes interdisciplinary exchange in the social sciences and humanities.
Eligibility criteria for Beyond Borders Fellowships:
All applications are welcome from doctoral students from all over the world who are working on borders and border phenomena in different regions of the world. Both empirical researches based on extensive fieldwork and projects focusing on theoretical reflection is eligible. Innovative and challenging research questions and comparative approaches are very welcome.
