How to Apply for Canada Visa Online – Complete Steps
To apply for a Canadian visa online, follow these steps:
1. Are you eligible to apply? Find.
Before filling out the necessary forms, you should find out in advance whether you can apply for a visa online. Click on this link and answer all questions correctly.
You will be asked questions about citizenship, age, family, work and a number of other things.
However, once you have answered all the questions and are found eligible to apply for a Canadian visa online, you will receive a message with a “personal reference code” that will be required to create your account and visa.

2. Fill out the online form

4. Register/login to submit your online application.
You must register to receive the “key” and then create an application account, pay the visa fee, and also check the status of your visa application.
You can create an account using “Sign-In Partner” or “GCKey”. For Nigerian citizens, select “GCKey”.
However, once you receive your username and password, log into your account, select “Visitor Visa, Study and/or Work Permit” and proceed to the next step.
Enter the “Personal Reference Code” you received earlier and upload the forms and supporting documents you filled out and prepared in advance.
5. Make payment
Once the system has verified and received all your documents, you will be redirected to the visa payment page, which costs CAD $100. In case of successful payment you will receive payment confirmation
6. Visit VFS Global.
After this, bring proof of payment, passport and photo in 3.5 4.5 cm format to VFS Global Nigeria:
